Speaking of music, I was lucky enough to see Jennifer Kimball twice in March during her residency at Lizard Lounge, and I'll finally be seeing Kris Delmhorst at Passim next month, too. (I think I'll miss Jabe at Toad, though, the dates just won't work out.) There is an upside of having an office in Cambridge after all! :-)

thanks for the birthday invite. did you know that professor loftus from UCI recently was awarded a top 20 young psychologist in america award. she rocks! put up the tree today, been going to lego land a lot- like it much. cade is really into the lego knights, and pirates. He has a mask, cape, shield, and sword- he's Jayko (sp). My AP class is reading "Caught Inside" (surfing book) as part of their Walden/Transcedental unit. bye- dt

cool. just read "the watermelon king" (reminded me of nick cave's "and the ass saw the angel." also just read "balzac and the little red seamstress." you might enjoy both. since you love quirky food places and good food check out www.chowhound.com in particular the New York board and the general topics board for great recipes and food ideas. i'm sure they have something about capers there. looking forward to seeing you for 2 minutes or so. david.
